Greetings Card design contest

As long this is Christmas, we think it isn't complete yet without christmas greetings card. So we're the team decided to change the Tweet it up event to this one.

So I'd like to see the community creativity by make a design of Christmas Greetings Card! There will be 1 winner for this event, and the winner design will be used by me to give a greetings card. And of course I wouldn't get it for free. I'll pay the winner with Winter Vinyl Packs code!

This event will be hold on EA Forum, so if you haven't verified your origin account, you should verify it to join on forum. I will open a thread on forum on December 12th so you can post your entry.

Read the rules before posting if you don't want to get disqualified, and if anyone break the rules, without see that he/she is our friend or no, with heavy heart, we will disqualify you.

The rules :

• The desktop background must be in format : JPG, JPEG, or PNG
• Post your design on the thread which will be opened on forum
• You can't copy paste from the internet. It has to be your own made. But you can search for an inspiration from the internet
• You could post it with any size but don't make it to small or to big. Standard size of greetings card usually A5 or A7
• Post also your direct link to your full size picture (if your picture larger than width 655)

• This contest starts on December 12th and will be closed on December 23th

NFS World Lovers Community Gaming Session (Christmas Challenge Day 5)

This is the final!

We're the NFS World Lovers team want to say hello, racing together with all cool community. So we decide to make a community gaming session.

The community gaming session is where you can race or play TE or even drag with anyone. I'm sure there are not much of you want to meet and race with who hold the event on NFS World Lovers page, and those who work good on this page for this year.

We'll be play in both server Apex and Chicane. The timing :
December 13th
Starts : 3:00 AM PST/11:00 AM UTC
Ends : 5:00 AM PST/1:00 PM UTC

On the first hour we're on Chicane-EU and Apex-EU. For the next hour will be on Chicane-US and Apex-US.

You can use any car do you want to use, but be warned that I will running a Juggernaut.

If you want a prize, you can send your screenshot by racing with your friend or even with me or NFS World Lovers team via twitter @NFSworldcars. 2 winners choosen by random will get the Winter Vinyls Packs. They will be announced on January 3rd as well as another Christmas Challenge winners.

Pursuit Challenge (Christmas Challenge Day 4)

This is the new event hold by NFS World Lovers team, suggested by our friend, Enggar.

On this Christmas Challenge, we'd like to challenge you to break the rules on the road as much as you can (but don't break the rules of event, because you will disqualified).

Go to any Pursuit Outrun event, get the highest heat level, get the highest cost to states. The highest player who get the highest cost to states is the winner. The winner will receive a code for Winter Vinyl Packs.

Event starts on December 12th.

The rules :

• One entry per player, can be edited since it's before the deadline.
• You CAN post videos from your pursuit outrun. But you MUST submit your In Game Name, Forum name, and a link to your nfs-s to prove that you're not a cheater.
• Only Nitrous are allowed for powerups.
• No instant cooldown or you will be disqualified
• Cooldown spots are allowed.
• Any cars are allowed
• The deadline is on December 30th and the winners will be announced on January 3rd with another Christmas challenge winners
• Spammings will count as disqualification. Cheater will also count as disqualification and maybe perma-ban of your account.

Forum Avatar and Signature Design Contest (Christmas Challenge Day 3)

We're back to design contest!

Today I want you to show us your creativity on making Forum Avatar and Signature for me.

I've seen that there are a lot of talented community in design and I decide to challenge ou to make me a set of Forum Avatar and Signature. It could be any theme including Christmas and make sure that the prefered entries should graphic or cartoon. Make it as unique as you can because it will give you a plus point. But once again, if you post something else, it still counted as valid entry.

Spot the NFS World Lovers (Christmas Challenge Day 2)

It's been long time since our last time held spot event. But today it's been back to celebrate Christmas!

Almost of you surely know about this old school contests that had been held by NFSW official long time ago.

Spot the NFS World Lovers is same with Spot the Devs. The difference just you need to spot the NFS World Lovers team instead of NFSW Devs.

To participate is very easy and simple. Login to the game, than search the NFS World Lovers team and take screenshot with them. We'll post the NFS World Lovers team In game name on twitter, right before the event starts. The car which will we use, also will be announced right before the event starts.

Timing for the event :
December 10th
Starts : 3:00 AM PST/11:00 AM UTC
Finish : 5:00 AM PST/1:00 PM UTC

We will be on both server, Chicane and Apex. For first one hour on Chicane-EU and Apex-EU. Next one hour will be on Chicane-US and Apex-US

There are some cool prizes to giveaway to the winners that choosen by random. Here's the list of prizes :

Desktop Design Contest (Christmas Challenge Day 1)

Since we've seen that the community has very creative mind, we decide to make a design contest.

On this first day of Christmas Challenge, we're the NFS World Lovers team want to challenge you to design a desktop background. The background could be any theme including Christmas and make sure that it has to be a graphic or cartoon and your home made. And also make the unique design, because it will give you a plus point. Home made mean you could search an inspiration from the internet but it doesn't mean you could copy and paste it. You must modify it or you will be disqualified.

There will be 1 desktop designs choosen by judging of NFS World Lovers team. Here the list for the prizes :

1. Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione (x1)
2. Chevrolet Corvette Z06 "The Beast" (x1)

For those who designed our desktop and it's applied as the background on my PC, he/she will be able to choose their prize! And the 2nd winner (choosen design but not used as background), he/she will get the rest of prize. For example : R0CKIZZ design has been choosen (then I choose the Alfa Romeo), and the 2nd winner is R0CKIZZFRIEND design (then he will get the Corvette).

One more thing, you must follow the rules. Anyone who break the rules, will be disqualified. So read it carefully

Yeah, Christmas is close. And like we've promised before that we will make a week full with a community contests.

Some of you might disappointed to see the SLR McLaren 722 Edition handling. But, don't be negative with this SLR McLaren Stirling Moss. It's completely different from the 722 Edition. This one has better handling, acceleration and also top speed. So, here, let me give you the list

Top Speed : 8/10
It can reach 341 kmh by using NOS, and 329 kmh without nos or slingshot.

Acceleration : 8/10
0-100 kmh (0-62 mph) only take around 3 seconds.

Handling : 7.5/10
It's completely different with SLR McLaren 722 Edition. Because this one can turn better, not like a boat!

You will have to spend 8000 boost for this car. Not the king, but still worth it.

Lamborghini Miura - History

Based on yesterday community interests with Lamborghini Miura Concept, today we've decided to give some information about Lamborghini Miura and it's history.

1. Lamborghini Miura P400

This is the first Miura. It has 3.9L Lamborghini V12 Engine which produced 350 PS. About 474 Miura were produced between 1966 and 1969 with $20,000.

 

2. Lamborghini Miura P400S

Miura P400S or known as Lamborghini Miura S was introduced on 1968 on Turin Motorshow. The engine has a change with the latest version with 20 PS addition. I can say that this car is limited because it's not much produced, only around 140 produced between December 1968 and March 1971.

 

3. Lamborghini Miura P400SV

Almost 100% sure that this is the most famous Miura ever made. You know this as Miura SV. This car was produced for 150 units and it has some changes from the Miura S, for example : 4.0L Lamborghini V12 Engine which give 15 PS addition to 385 PS, The gearbox now had its lubrication system separate from engine, and also new 9-inch wheels.

 

4. Lamborghini Miura P400 Jota

Be careful to see this car! If you see it carefully, you'll see the difference between the Miura SV that the bumper is already different. Only 1 of this were built and it means it's only for private buyer! Introduced on 1971.

 

5. Lamborghini Miura P400 SV/J

Actually only 5 of this were produced between 1983-1997. It was made from unused Miura S chassis.

 

6. Lamborghini Miura Roadster

Enjoy your summer with a roadster! First shown on 1968 based on the oldest Lamborghini Miura version (Lamborghini Miura P400). The one of a kind Lamborghini Miura Roadster was shown at the Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance in 2013.

 

7. Lamborghini Miura P400 SVJ Spider

 

First seen on 1981 Geneva Motor Show. This is actually a reconstructed version of the 1971 Lamborghini Miura S.

 

8. Lamborghini Miura Concept

Well, I'm sure this is the hottest one! First presented on January 5, 2005 during Los Angeles Motor Show. But this doesn't mean that the Miura will returned to be in production again. NFSW Code Release Date Plan

So, this week there are 2 codes that NFSW will release. They're from VK (30k likes milestone) and Official Need for Speed World page on facebook (1M likes milestone). Here the plan :

Tomorrow (Wednesday) evening (EU) we will be releasing the 2nd Milestone code for the VK.com milestone so you will be able to get your hands on that (And let's be fair... that milestone was hit first)

Then, on Thursday evening (EU) we will be releasing the Miura Concept code for the 1 Million likes on Facebook, and you can be sure that we will make some noise about it, so you shouldn't miss it.

Announcing Week of Cruise!

Yea! It's summer holiday here! And you know what does it mean? Yes, like I told you before, I'll hold some cruise event! So, what is Week of Cruise? Well, week of cruise is a week that full with cruise event. We'll hold this for 5 (five) days. So starting next week from Monday to Friday there are cruise event from me. Here the list :

Day 1 (Monday, June 24th) : Dodge Meet and Cruise
From 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM (GMT) / 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (PDT)
All Dodge cars are allowed.

Day 2 (Tuesday, June 25th) : Lotus Meet and Cruise
From 9:00 PM - 10:00 PM (GMT) / 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM (PDT)
All Lotus cars are allowed.

Dodge Challenger Concept "Cop Edition" - Review

Dodge Challenger Concept cop has been released in March 2013 and available for Speedboost Top-Up only. Today, I'm very happy because I get a chance to buy this car with 4160 Speedboost. So, make some review for this car. As usual, the minimum score is 1 and the maximum is 10.

 

Top Speed : 7/10

303 kmh for Class-A is already good without nitrous and 329 kmh if we use nitrous.

 

Acceleration : 7/10

Around 3 seconds from 0-100 kmh (0-62 mph)

 

Handling : 6.5/10

Not really bad. It's a bit heavy, but not as heavy as driving a boat like Dodge Viper SRT10. You still can handle it.

Style : 8.5/10
Each people has their different opinion. In my opinion it has very good style with big bull bars in front of the car and also in the backside. Also it comes with cop light. You always can turn it on by press "L" on our keyboard.

Skill Mods : 7.5/10
This car is already pre-installed with skill mods.
1) 2x Nitrous power skill mod (2-stars)
2) 2x Nitrous duration skill mod (2-stars)
3) 1x Race cash skill mod (2-stars)

Overall Performance : 7/10
Overall of performance is 616. Not really good stats, but it has average performance in Class-A. It comes with 2 stars parts (Race Series)

Average : 7.25
Not the worst of Class-A, and also not the best of Class-A. This car has average performance!

Unforgotable Moment - Cop Cars Meeting

We just having an unforgotable moment on Need for Speed World, Apex-EU server in Rockport Turnpike. It's a cop cars meeting where people use their favourite cop car. There are several people here. There are BYKUN, LEAGUEND, TIMOTHYORVIN, KENJI755, MOJONG76. The cop cars are Dodge Viper SRT10 ACR, Nissan Silvia (S15), and BMW M3 GTS.

So, will we make this unforgotable moment again? Maybe with different people and more people!

Caterham R500 Superlight - Review

Caterham R500 Superlight was released on Need for Speed World on Monday, April 22, 2013 after Spot the Devs Spring Edition end. It's a S-Class car and cost 6900 Speedboost. Today we make a review about this car since this car has been waited by a lot of Need for Speed World Community.

Remember, we will rate the car between 1 (minimum) and 10 (maximum).

Top Speed : 8/10
Reach 330 kmh without NOS and 360 kmh with NOS.

Acceleration : 7/10
0-100 kmh less than 3 seconds.

Handling : 9/10
It's very light car so it's easy to turn. But because of its weight, this car is not really good for Team Escape. It's very good in race!

Style : 8/10
An open-wheel car! Since not a lot of car has this model, usually we see on Formula 1 car!

Overall Performance : 8/10
When it's in stock condition from dealer, it's already pre-installed with Norset and Richter race series (2 stars) parts. The overall is 800. Good stats enough for S-Class.

Skill Mods : 7.5/10
The stock one from dealer come with pre-installed Skill Mods :
1) 2x Nitrous power skill mod (2-stars)
2) 2x Nitrous duration skill mod (2-stars)
3) 1x Race cash skill mod (2-stars)

So the average is : 7.9
If you like play race event, you should buy this car because it's designed for race. But this car is weak in Team Escape because the body is very light.

Introducing Ghost Games Indonesia Twitter and Facebook Page

Once again we give some benefit to Need for Speed fans, especially for Indonesian Community. Today we're very happy that we make a new Twitter and Facebook page for Ghost Games for Indonesian. It means all posts are using Indonesian language! For some Indonesian who don't know English very well, now you don't have to worry, because there are already Ghost Games news in your language.

Some info about Ghost Games, it's located on Gothenburg and is a new EA Studio. Their newest game Need for Speed Rivals are from this studio and the game will be released on 19 November 2013.

Sunday Drive!

Last week Sunday Drive was very amazing! And I want to starts to organize it every week on Sunday. 

Sunday Drive is an event that allow you to cruise, meet, and chilling with the community which held on Sunday. So, we'll meet in a specified place in game and after that we'll start the cruise. And also we'll stop on some great spot to chilling, for example : chatting together, take some screenshot, etc.

We're very happy today because we got a chance to chase a Ferrari in the Toll Road this morning. And also we have a video to share! Enjoy the video!

It's been long time since I'm not held any event. And today, I'd very happy to announce a weekly event called Sunday Drive!

Sunday Drive is an event that allow you to cruise, meet, and chilling with the community which held on Sunday. So, we'll meet in a specified place in game and after that we'll start the cruise. Caterham R500 Superlight

Like you know, NFS World already released their 150th car and you know it's the Caterham R500 Superlight.

Superlight, like its name, this car has very light body. You can say the handling is very good. This car actually very good for race because it has fast acceleration and also good handling also great top speed that can reach 150 mph!

On Need for Speed World, this car is not really good at Team Escape game mode because its mass. Very.. very light!

Community Gaming Session

You must know that Need for Speed World is celebrating The Cherry Blossom Festival with a Community Challenge. To help NFSW Players complete the challenge, we held a Community Gaming Session.

Everyone can participate in the Community Gaming Session, all you need to do is just login to NFS World and then race with the rest of community.

So, TIMOTHYORVIN will be jumping online on Apex-US at 10am GMT / 3am PDT / 6am EDT on Friday, April 12. He'll be accepting any invites to a Race, Drag, and even Team Escape! Because of we held Community Gaming Session to help the community to complete The Cherry Blossom Festival Community Challenge, of course it'd be better if you use Japanese car. His driver name on NFS World is TIMOTHYORVIN.

You can use any car you want (but at this time, we'd recommend you to use your Japanese car), but be aware that TIMOTHYORVIN will be running a very special Japanese custom car!

And, be aware that we don't have any prizes to giveaways for this Community Gaming Session, because we held this event only to help the community to complete the challenge.

400 KMS ROAD TRIP

You maybe already hear that I just having a vacation to Pangandaran, West Java, Indonesia. It took 8 hours to go there from Jakarta and 400 kilometers distance. I use 2008 Suzuki Grand Vitara to go there with family. The road to go there is quite difficult! You drive through the mountain and canyon. That's why we can't drive fast. Our main reason to go there is to have a vacation and visit "Green Canyon" (You can see the picture of Green Canyon on the top of this post). Green Canyon is a very great place in Pangandaran. There's a river (Cijulang River) between cliffs. But you need to swim to see it because the boat only use to take you to the gate. Beside to Green Canyon, we also go to Pantai Batu Hiu (Batu Hiu Beach). We enjoy the view of Indonesian Ocean there. And why the name is Batu Hiu? We also can see a rock (Batu) which look like a shark (Hiu). That's why the name is Batu Hiu. After that we also go to Citumang. It's like a river with a very clean water. Of course it's a great place to swimming. But be aware that the water flows very fast. Next day, it's our time to prepare to go back to home. But before that, we're biking! That's a very unforgotable moment with family.

So in total 800 kms vacation with spend more than 70 liters of petrol, we're very happy to go there. Too much memories with family there which I can't forgot.

McLaren P1

First seen in 2013 Geneva Motor Show. This car has very great looking style. Looks very wild! Wild as same as the performance. This car has 727 BHP and 3.8L V-8 engine combined with KERS electric motor that produce 176 BHP more. So in total it's a 903 BHP car which make it can accelerate from 0 to 62 mph less then 3 seconds, 0 to 124 mph in only less then 7 seconds and hit 0-186 mph less then 17 seconds. It means that this car is 5 seconds faster than the predecessor of this car, McLaren F1. The top speed is 239 mph with new feature Drag Reduction System (DRS). But electronically it just can reach 217.5 mph. This car is only produced about 375 units, so it's a limited car! You can get this car in real world by spending around 866,000 Pound - 1,100,000 Pound.
